this project is a new construction (2) unit cellar + (4) story residential building in south williamsburg.  an aluminum plate facade with cnc’ed cut outs screens a ground floor “flex” space (dance studio, photo shoot area, living room, etc.) for the family of three.  the facade transforms into a more transparent street wall screen as the aluminum continues up to the second floor terrace.  the building is composed of an owner’s triplex and a rental duplex.
