this project is an interior renovation and a rear yard design to a (4) story brownstone located in a landmarked district.  the rear yard design consists of two cast in place concrete retaining walls, a perimeter wood fence, and an upper and lower on grade ipe decks.  the first phase of the interior renovation converted the basement and first floors into an owner’s duplex, while a future phase will create a “big window” at the kitchen and a steel stair down to the rear yard.
