this new construction house of worship’s first floor concrete and glass arcade allows views in, out, and through the building, while the upper floors are wrapped in a double skin with bronze fins for sun shading and privacy.  entry into the house of worship is compressed under a mezzanine level, which then leads to a double height worship space punctuated by a dramatic wash of natural light from a concrete skylight “chimney” extending down from the roof.
