“ales ortuzar projects” is a new art gallery located in the landmark district of tribeca.  located on the first floor of a historic cast iron building, the interior renovation sought to expose the old details and quirkiness of the existing space, as well as create a white box backdrop for art installation.  a 13′-0″ datum in elevation is the seam between old and new.  a private viewing room, a 8′-0″ long work table, and storage complete the program.
