this former plumbing supply building is being renovated into a new mixed use building. the existing building is being subdivided into (5) separate buildings, each with a new commercial space on the ground floor and residential units on the upper floors. each building will have a new stair to the roof, culminating in a deck for tenants to view the shipyards across the street, and the downtown manhattan skyline in the distance. construction is to commence fall 2009.
